The Tenkara Fishing Method

Tenkara fishing has been around for more than 400 years originating in Japan. Mirna Mora was established to provide a more robust easy to use option for the Tenkara angler. With a handful of techniques and styles, Tenkara angling can be incredibly enjoyable and productive. it is very difficult to present an offering to a fish in a more natural way. Tenkara anglers, particularly younger anglers, can develop the art of stealth which lasts a lifetime. Furthermore, Tenkara angling improves and develops focus, a transferable skill for many aspects of life.

    Where it all began, The Tenkara method originated in streams and to this day is arguably the most effective way to fish a stream,we have discovered that streams dont need to be mountain streams though can be as varied and mangrove creeks and larger rivers.
